In the convent, Saint Rita’s was marked by her charity. All her prayers reached remarkable healings, deliverance and other special favours from God. Saint Rita loved our lord Jesus Christ so much that she wanted to take on and experience our lord’s sufferings. God gave Saint Rita a thorn’s wound in Saint Rita’s forehead. It was very painful for Saint Rita and it had a very awful smell Saint Rita considered this a beautiful gift from God. “Oh dear Jesus, increase my patience as my sufferings increase”, she prayed. The wound lasted for the rest of her life.Saint Rita died on May, 22nd 1457 at the age of 76. People went to the convent to pay tribute and last respects. Millions of miracles were POSSIBLE thanks to her intercession her devotion all over the world. Incredible, Saint Rita was kept intact for several centuries and now gave a sweet fragrance. During the beatification ceremony Saint Rita’s raised and opened her eyes.God has listed Saint Rita’s prayers and God is willing to listen to your prayers if you call for the intercession of Saint Rita.
