I went to Paris and I saw this little chapel devoted to Saint Rita...I took a picture of a candle...I hope you like it.

One year since Saint Rita’s miracle…

My personal miracle…I came to the UK in hope to make my dream come true…I got to his country and started to look for a job…God! I asked Saint Rita for a job and within a month of my arrival I had gotten a wonderful job. My mother had done the same. She has asked Saint Rita for the chance to get a job…Saint Rita, here I am in London, thanks God. Thank you for interceding and making my dream true…

Saint Rita. Her life in the Augustinian Convent

In the convent, Saint Rita’s was marked by her charity. All her prayers reached remarkable healings, deliverance and other special favours from God. Saint Rita loved our lord Jesus Christ so much that she wanted to take on and experience our lord’s sufferings. God gave Saint Rita a thorn’s wound in Saint Rita’s forehead. It was very painful for Saint Rita and it had a very awful smell Saint Rita considered this a beautiful gift from God. “Oh dear Jesus, increase my patience as my sufferings increase”, she prayed. The wound lasted for the rest of her life.Saint Rita died on May, 22nd 1457 at the age of 76. People went to the convent to pay tribute and last respects. Millions of miracles were POSSIBLE thanks to her intercession her devotion all over the world. Incredible, Saint Rita was kept intact for several centuries and now gave a sweet fragrance. During the beatification ceremony Saint Rita’s raised and opened her eyes.
God has listed Saint Rita’s prayers and God is willing to listen to your prayers if you call for the intercession of Saint Rita. Saint Rita will be happy to hear and help you.

A short biography of Saint Rita

Saint Rita de Casia was born in Casia, Italy on May 22th. Her real name was Margarita, but since she was very little she was called Rita. Since her birth, the saint started to show why she should be called later the “Saint of the impossible causes and requests”. Her mother was unable to have children. However, her constant prayings allowed her give birth her wonderful child.
Saint Rita de Casia is one of the most popular saints in the Roman Catholic church. She was born in Roccaporena, 5 km to west of the town of Cascia, in the province of Perugia, Umbria region in Italy in 1381 and died on May 22, 1457. Her name is abbreviation of the name Margherita. Her sacred symbols are the roses and the figs.
Since she was a child, Rita showed interested in offering her life to God. She loved praying and helping others and poor people. She wanted to become a nun. However, per decision and abeyance to her parents Rita got married. Rita’s husband had a difficult character and mood, very violent that continuously assault and humiliated Rita. However, Rita was able to cope with this difficult situation for more than 18 years...not complaining, not even going to the police or the authorities to report her husband...She had 2 sons that inherited their father’s character.
Her husband later changed his character, thanks to Saint Rita’s many prayers. Saint Rita’s husband was murdered and her sons were planning to take revenge of their husband’s dead. She pleaded God to take the lives of their own sons instead of see them in jail because of this revenge they wanted to take...Saint Rita’s sons died from natural causes, this way God listened to Saint Rita’s praying.
Once her husband and her sons died...She wanted to become a nun but the convent only accepted single women. So, she took this time to help people in need, prayers and meditation.At the end and after her perseverance, the Augustinian sisters made an exception and let her in the convent. She devoted her time helping the sick sisters and praying for the conversion of sinners. Saint Rita or Santa Rita has helped me many times along my life...I remember that when I was little child and I lost something my mother used to suggest me to pray to Saint Rita to help me find what I had lost...The results...I always found what I had lost...
